Background:
In 2001 RMC implemented Elgressy LPB systems to prevent Legionella in the hospitals hot and cold water systems. The decision was made following RMC’s board decision to increase the hospitals efficiency while phasing out chemicals wherever possible.

Operational:
RMC water systems are Legionella free since LPB was implemented, with no need for thermal shocks or chemicals.
Maintenance:
Maintenance was significantly reduced due to the elimination of chemicals.
